- Microsoft Word (Office) with versions: 2007 (VISTA), 2003, XP or 2000

1.2.1. Help
Access:
- Standard toolbar - Kriptus | Help on line
Description: Runs browser Internet Explorer or Netscape in Élin Duxus web page for system manual and help for functions.
1.2.2. Status Indicator
Access:
- Standard toolbar - Kriptus | Status
Description: Allows user to verify systems available updates as well as signature/license status. If signature/license expires, cyphering functionality will be over and will not return.
- Running normal - registration number showed
- License is about to expire
- System blocked – signature or license need to be revalidated.
1.2.3. Idiom
Access:
- Standard toolbar - Kriptus | Idiom
Description: Idiom setting.
Includes options for Portuguese (Brazil) and English (USA). Please, check for other available languages.
After change the idiom, it is necessary to restar Microsoft Word.
1.2.4. Cyphering
Access:
- Standard toolbar - Kriptus | Cypher
Description: Runs cyphering for selected text.
Using passwords, you can make a regular text become a cyphered one.
Many parts of the same document can be cyphered with different passwords.
Also available inside Microsoft Outlook e-mail editor.
Keep in mind that a text can be cypherd just once!
This function expires with DEMO (trial) time.
From version 2.0.1 on, it is possible to use KRIPTUS with a second password or a panic password. Together with an alternative text, it is possible for users to run a safe deciphering during panic situations.
1.2.5. Decyphering
Access:
- Standard toolbar - Kriptus | Decypher
Description: Converts a cyphered text into a regular one.
To decypher you must use the same cyphering password.
After decyphering, text format may differ from original text because cyphering does not keep different format!
Decyphering is free and does not expire after DEMO (trial) time.
